35 Skill training programmes under the Agricultural Skill Council of India (ASCI) were coordinated by ATARI during 2022-23 with the participation of 26 KVKs. Each training was conducted with 25 trainees for 210 hrs i.e. 26 days duration during which period the trainees were given theory and practical classes on a particular job role to make them competent for getting employment or to start their own enterprise related to the skills acquired. At the end of the training programs the trainees are assessed by third party assessors engaged by ASCI who assessed and certified the trainees. Total 875 farmers were trained through 35 training programs like Small Organic Cultivator (300), Backyard Poultry Farmer (275), Garden Keeper (125), Small Dairy Farmer (75), Small Mushroom Grower (50) and in Honey bee training program 50 farmer trained. Out of 875 farmers total 765 farmers cleared their assessment. In small organic cultivator total 300 farmers trained and 268 farmers cleared the assessment. Through Backyard Poultry 275 farmers trained and 235 farmers cleared the assessment. Five training organized by KVK on Garden Keeper through which 125 farmers trained and 100 farmers cleared assessment. Trough Honey bees training program 50 farmers trained and 49 farmers cleared the assessment also 2 training was conducted on mushroom cultivation through which 50 farmers trained and 44 farmers cleared the assessment.
